Like many, we tried the usual solutions. Large cantilever umbrellas, while helpful, just didn’t provide the complete coverage we needed. We envisioned a solution that could mount to any deck or patio to provide low-angle sun protection. It needed to have a clean, unobtrusive design, but that solution didn’t exist. So, we created it.
We channeled 35 years of manufacturing and engineering experience into designing ShadeFit Kit. Step-by-step instructions are provided for custom design and installation by DIYers and professionals. We installed the ShadeFit kit on our patio to work with our large umbrella, and it has made a huge difference. It's the perfect solution for blocking that intense, late-afternoon sun that used to drive us inside. As a result, we're using our patio so much more. I bought this for privacy on our deck. We started with 3 shades and are adding a 4th because we love the privacy and shade. It's also a lot cooler. I highly recommend.
